I'm always happy to repair items, even for non local customers, and I am an Authorised Soundlab Dealer. Problem with this, is that you will need to send the item to me, and you will also need to pay my carrier charge back to you (Usually around £8 for a 2 day delivery). If it's only a small fault then you may end up paying more in carriage then the actual repair!.
Tip:- Check that its not the link lead that is faulty (and easy and cheap to fix by the user). You can test this by wiggling and gently kinking the lead. Also check the sockets on the controller and main unit by wiggling the plug.
Most intermittant faults that occur can be lead related so its worth checking - some dealers know this and will charge you £30+ for replacing the lead then tell you it was a component failure so check it!.

Yep well worth paying £200 - £900 for a £5.00 lead makes sense
. A bit like replacing your lighting effect cos the blub has blown.
Incidentally, I don't charge city prices - most faults are lead or dry joint related which on average I charge £7.50 to put right.
