Behringer have introduced a new DMX controller (together with 52 other products in the last 12 months).

It seems to offer everything that a £400 controller could do, but for half that price (normal Behringer sorta price then)

But Behringer always seem to advertise new stuff, waaay before they can delivery it, so if its ehat youre looking for, join the queue ;)

Hey All,

U can use any DMX Comtroller to operate those lights as long as it can handle the channels. I'm guessing your around 20-30 channels, so buying a cheap 12 channel desk won't help you much.

If your starting out I would stick to desk's, as physical things are easyer to work, than computer programs.... but a PC DMX controller is the 'thing'.

If you want to spend little go for the older style 'LPT DMX Interfaces' over the usb ones, as they are cheaper. But make sure it has software with it, theres one on ebay at the moment, around $1,000aus (not alot in the uk).

Most club in aus (don't know uk) use PC DMX controllers, because if you get a new light, go online and grab its profile (what channel does wat) and your off.

Ajay,

Let me know if you wanna know more...
