Me!...I sell Disco Equpment...you never would have guessed!

I've also previously worked in Electronics - as a technician and technical buyer, I've also worked in the Security and CCTV Industries

Have been DJ'ing since age 14 (now 33).
Worked various clubs (wheels of steel) upto 1993
Started a band (should have called it a Rubber Band after the amount of times we changed the format)
Door supervisor for Clubs - hated it!!!
Decided to commit totally and turned pro (mobile) in 1997 after several jobs.
(Found it very hard at first, having worked for some good Agencies)
Pleasures:
Now I can get to do home gardening during the day (I love my Venus)
Write music on the PC and create Jingles and links for Independant Radio.
Have an interest in Astronomy.

I work in an IT dept and in my spare time working hard to get my disco known. I am enjoying it at the moment and this forum is a great help to a novice like me.

I have worked in one of HM services for over 10 yrs, after that worked in the security industry and local government enforcement both in a supervisory capacity, turned professional in 1983 and never worked in the daytime since. I too like to relax in the garden and mess about building computers.

Well as chris knows i work for Tescos as a Homeshopping delivery driver but dont let that fool you!! I got qualifications coming out from all places, these include
BSc Information Systems (Computing)
HND Computing
National Diploma in Electronic Engineering
First Diploma in Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical Engineering
Guild of Master craftsmen in mechanical/electronics
And i here u say WHAT THE HELL AM I WORKING FOR TESCOS? Well simple!! No one wants to take me as i am lacking in the experience department

but working on my disco business too on making it sucessful with the thanxs to chris

for his advice!!
So any one got any p.c trouble etc im the man to ask!! I use to own a business upgrading and repairing p.cs and even building them from scratch so i know the ins and outs

Now you've let it slip, you can answer all the tax problems.
Did an electonics apprenticeship, Played with data loggers, multimeters and Light Amplification Stimulated by the Emmisson of Radiation (real ones). Got my MOD approval, CAA approval, played with instrumentation on Appollo and SkyLab. Gave it all up in the mid eighties to play DJ. and I'm still playing
