
Another consideration for lighting is to make sure that youve got some lighting that is really suitable for ALL the types of music that youll be playing.
For example: Trying to have a dancfloor cuddle/snog/turn~around~slowly~with~~your~eyes~closed~dance with your spouse (or a loved one;)) is nigh on impossible with some "wild fury" sound~activated hyper~barrel~moonie flower, spinning its mirrors off in 16 rapidly strobing dichloric colours...
In contrast, leaving just a UltraViolet tube and your star cloth running, might not be enough light for all to see safely...and you definately dont want anyone killing the atmosphere by turning the main hall florescents on...
This is where a 4 channel controller with dimming and crossfading facilities comes in handy, or a "slow mode"/"manual speed override" on DMX controllers are perfect solutions.
