I just bought some used HK classic line speakers 2- 15'' bass bins CL115 and 2- 12'' tops CL152 matching i payed £400 for them i tried googling them but nothing the same comes up could anyone tell me if there more for bands i use them for mobile DJin . I passed up the option to buy some DAS speakers same bins and tops for £600 , which would you have bought and sounds stupud but whats the differnece between passive and active

Passive speakers require an amplifier to drive them.

Active speakers have an amplifier section built into each cabinet.
