Earlyer today I went to try out my source 1200HV smoke machine only for the fuse to go in the main unit and house to trip.

I tested for a earth fault and found one, so I opened up the body. Looked for aleats 10 mins, tested again and there was now no fault.
5 more mins and i find this, a shocking sight, sharp egdes of the case rubbing agained the power wires. This unit is only 2 months old and this happens.
Shocking.

So just put some tape on this to stop it rubbing, technical......

The problem now being, that as you have opened up the unit.. you have no redress to the supplier.

Yep - Bye, Bye Warranty .If anything more serious happens to your fogger, you'll have to foot the bill yourself. You may have also neglected to warn the manufacturer of a potentially lethal manufacturing fault , by doing the repair yourself
