Consider that if they've stopped making them - would it really be a good idea to buy one? Why did they stop making them? Are spares readily available?....Although I dont know what it is, I would have thought that if they stopped making them then it wasnt that popular?
Chrispy
Karen posts a very interesting point. When a manufacturer ceases manufacturing a product, they do have an obligation to continue to offer spares for a period of around 5 years. This obligation is not extend to technical advice or repairs, but only the sale of faders, switches, x-faders etc.

Considering that this goodwill period is almost up, I would advise against buying something of this nature. Also the fact that they stopped manufacturing them, makes the mixer itself more than 5 years old - consider how much use it's had over that period!, it may work okay now, but technically it's passed its avarge life expectancy for this sort of product - especially items of "wear" such as faders, EQ Controls etc, will probably begin to need, replacing shortly.

Good point.

Well what is a good mixer that has the following things:

Balanced Output

Balanced Mic Input

Min. 2 RCA Channels (Switchable PHONO/LINE)

Good Crossfader

Good Control on the sound (High, Mid, Low)

I would like a BPM built in, but the PC program I use has one anyway.

Chrispy
I'm not really sure what is / isn't easily available to you in your locality. Look out for the new Behringer VMX-1000 which will fit all of your criteria including the BPM's. The mixer is only just about to be released, so it may be a few months before its available to buy. UK Price is likely to be around £180-ish.

Other Mixers which fit most of your requirements (Except the BPM Counters), include the Citronic CDM 10:4, and the Studiomaster Fusion - both are good solid, reliable mixers.

Thanks Chris, I'll have a look for them,

Cheers
