I'll either need a babysitter, or another tube of superglue
I'm up for this...might have to bring the mrs's though...although I might be able to get a night-pass....
Somewhere sorta central for all of us...and just background music maybe...I cant imagine what we'd be like if there was a poor DJ in whatever pub we descended upon (Maybe the pub just outside the Paultons Park gates?)
Maybe we should get a "Southerner's BBQ rota going too".

Yep, that's pretty central. Ludgate Circus/Fleet St so would be easy to get to for most people. The grubs not bad there either

not that I ever normally notice things like the quality and/or quantity of the food

Andy, Kev,
There's been so many dates mentioned that I'm a little lost as to what was eventually decided
If the meet is on March 25 in London then yep, I'm up for it.
Was a location agreed? Ian and I both mentioned the bar we do in Ludgate Circus/Fleet St. Was this an acceptable option or was a better alternative offered?

LONDON
Is there a nice pub just outside waterloo station?
Eskie
Feb 3 2004, 01:46 AM
The pub name is The Hogshead
Hogshead bar reviewMapThe arrow shown on the map is not accurate. The Hogshead is actually on the crossroads of Fleet St, Farringdon St, New Bridge St & Ludgate Hill.
St Paul's Cathedral is a 2 min walk to the east.
Blackfriars station is a 2 min walk to the south.
The Old Bailey is a 2 min walk to the north.
And The Strand (Theatre land) is a 5 min walk to the west.
So you can safely say it's very central.
The above review states that there are no DJ's there; this is cos 1. the review was done quite a while ago and 2. They don't have a dance license, so they don't advertise the fact they have DJ's there.
Either Ian or I will be working there that night and the other one will almost certainly be there as well to take the pi$$ out of the one that's working
