Hi all,

The nightclub I DJ in is running a Barn Dance this weekend as a Theme night & to keep with the theme of the event I'm putting together a playlist of "Barn Dance" music that I will be playing alongside cheesey party tunes amid the usual Chart,Dance,R'n'B & Hip Hop.

So far I have "Red Nex - Cotton Eye Joe"......................... & thats it !

Any ideas ?

There's quite a few Country style covers around you might be able to slip in as well - Hayseed Dixie, The Gourds - Gin and Juice spring to mind - google 'country covers' and there's rap covers, rock covers, pop covers etc.

If you wanted to keep it cheesy and sorta barn dancy? I guess you could throw in Steps 5,6,7,8 ? Or is that more line-dancey... Sorta similar though I guess.. ?
