hi, well i got the speaker stands today, put the speakers on them and they fitted great,,,,,then i tried to take them of and the speaker was well and truly stuck, i ended up turning the speaker upside down and twisting the pole of, has any one got any tips on making things a bit easier to get the pole of the speaker?

Lube?
Seriously though... check the "hole" on the speaker for any flashing (bits of plastic from where it was molded)
If it is plastic and you can feel a few bits of rough, then some sandpaper etc may take it off.
If the hole is smooth on the inside, dunno!

If the pole is painted, trying cleaning the paint off , too the length the pole goes in the hole, wont be seen then

They will get easier to pull off after a bit of use. In the meantime, a little vaseline works wonders.

if there is a cap at the top of the pole you will often find that is bigger than the pole width - soon as you loose that or it gets stuck in the speaker the pole will slide more easily :-)
