A local community arts organisation has folded recently and they have about £70,000 of equipment sat wasting away. An organisation i do some voluntary work for are interested in taking over the equipment and carrying on the service they provided. Basically we have to make the equipment available for the local community and deliver maintain and demonstrate the gearas as well as do workshops

the list of gear includes
PA rigs
Light Rigs
Multimedai stuff (video cameras, projectors etc etc)
Portable staging
etc etc etc etc

Now the folded organisation were chuffing useless - no web site, never answered the phone, never replied to emails or returned messages and because of that made £1100 in rental last year.

We could get the gear for free with strict conditions. As we need to make money to pay for upkeep and storage im wondering if there is a viable market for this type of stuff in general. We obviously need to look into our local market but if you do hire gear out i would like some info so i can look at developing a proposal on behalf of our organisation.
