Hi Flash AAAGGHHHHHHH!!!!!bom bombombombom

I guess it would all depend on a couple of questions

1, Do all already own any 30m length leads?
if so then there's your answer

2, if you were to go and buy 30m length leads, could you jusitfy / offset the cost and do you know if you would use them again?

3, do you have enough shorter leads in any combination to make up a total of 60m's?

although with more connections and joins comes the opportunity for more interference, poor signal transfer, accidental breakages etc.

4, can you simply hire / borrow them from anywhere?

So yes I agree its a tricky one but from experience I was in a similar situation where I needed two 20m leads for either side of a stage I was performing at, so I went out and purchased two said leads!

Two thing were wrong with what I did...........The first is that the leads have sat in their box never used since and if I had checked with the venue in the first place as an Arts centre they were familiar with the problems associated with their venue and could have lent me two leads from their own stock! signdammit.gif

I won't sell the leads because I'm one of the.........you never know if.............brigade yes.gif so do not throw anything away until its in a million pieces in my hands.

So I hope this helps and soory for the bombombom bit at the top although I'm sure everyone has cottoned onto what I mean by it! 9.gif I know

hahahahahaha, yeah dont worry bout the bombombom bit, I know wot you mean about buying and never using again, the thing is I have done this 3 time for the ppl and they are willing to buy them and let me keep the leads as i dont charge them for doing it (family).
They will only get used when i do there presentation nights and footy comps.
I was more concerned about the signal strength and loss of quality in using shorter connected ones or one long one.
I think I will be buying LONG ones and let the footy club pay thumbsup.gif
Thanks for your help

If running cables a 30 metre distance, and your not paying, get 2.5mm2 cables rather that 1.5mm2, that will help.
