Ive heard about hdd sync'ing but being technologically challenged that i am, whats the crack. At present i have my music stored on my internal hdd, along with my itunes purchases, with an external hdd backup. However every time i buy a bunch of tunes from itunes or rip a cd i have to manually copy everthing to my hdd too.

Is there a way to set something up so every time i plug in my external hdd it mirrios my internal, without deleting other stuff i have on the external if poss.

sorry if i sound a bit vague or dumb but thats me im afraid

On a different note, my acer laptop has a certain cdrw that is not compatible with itunes for some strange reason, which is a pain in the rear end.

I use something called synctoy from micrsoft been using for a couple of years and think its a very good way of backing up onto an external drive
