There are several of this size and various other sizes on Ebay for sale at very reasonable prices.

Just put flight case in the search and it will take you straight to them most with next day delivery brand new!

You need to be looking at something like this...

Problem is with your mixer size request. With mixers being anything from 2U to 10U high, manufacturers tend to make their cases universal and err on the the side of the larger sized mixer - making the flightcase suitable for using with any size and model of mixer.

This is why you are struggling to find one with an exact 4U mixer space. Most people tend to buy a the standard size and then blank off the space with standard 2 or 4U metal 19" blanking panels. Besides, if you decide to invest in any effect equipment - compressor limiter, Graphic Eq, Sound Enhancer etc, at least you'd have the additional space to add them biggrin.gif .

Sorry can't help with a 2x4x4U case, but the above 2x10x4U is fairly standard within the industry and quite cheap @ £55. For your requirements I would suggest contacting a flightcasing company direct, or a local joiner, but it won't be cheap!.

Just to chuck my tuppence worth in here, I've used a case similar to the one Chris has highlighted with 2 dual cd players in instead of an amp.

Major drawback, even at 7kg for the extra cd player, it is very heavy !
With an amp, you'd need to be on the world's strongest man.
I've now scrapped mine to a standard 2-6-2 and taking a seperate case with the cd player in

I would have taken the amp out and left the CD's in, so all the sound is connected up and only the amp needs to be connected as these are XLR or jack connections they would be stronger than the phonos from/to the CD's, also if you only required the CD and mixer you still need to carry the amp at the moment and still be quite strong
