Its the first gig i've done with my new datamoons and one packed up mid gig. There is power, the fan is spinning, the lamp is on, the gobos are changing with the music ................but no light output. Do you know if they have a seperate blackout facility and do you know of any quirks with the datamoons.

The only thing i didnt try was powering down and re-starting. I will have a look tomorrow to see if its working or not.

They are under warranty obviously and i am not going to do anything to void said warranty.

Its was very hot at my gig and the light bar was 6 inces from the ceiling in a corner of a room so i thought overheating but surely the lamp would shut down if that was the case

Same problem with one of mine. on opening it up found that the mirror dish had come lose and fallen off, just pushed it back on the spindle and retightend the grub screws. Had no problem since, hope this of use

Thanks Shifty - You are a star, thats exactly whats happened. Just fixed it and tightened the others. downside is that one of the mirrors is chipped, may not be noticable as its on the very edge.
