Hi all

Just wanted to know what type of cd case folk use for a CD player and a Denon DXN500 mixer.

My last mixer was only 90mm deep so would fir into the standard 2u4u2u carpet case.

The Denon won't fit in as it's 115mm.

What do other people use?

I have the DN-X500, i use this case below its 3-4-2 as I also have the DN-HC4500which is 3U, solid as a rock, and not too heavy either glad I bought it, it's available from htfr in various sizes. It also has a removeable lid which when turned upside down acts as a laptop holder, very handy.

Thanks, but do you have the cd drawers at the base as well, as i'm worried about the depth.

We had a DNX500 and a DN1800F player in a case at Reflex, it was a Citronic carpet covered one a bit like this (shows skytronic one)

If you put the mixer towards the top and a blanking plate at the bottom to rest your wrists on it fits ok.

Yeah plenty of space, I have the Denon BU 4500 CD drawer at the bottom fits in lovely, there is also plenty of space left for cables

You can just see the unit here to the left, no problem with depth, it's quite strong and not too heavy, I find it perfect for what I need. I have only had it since xmas though so I don't know how wear and tear will effect it, not a scratch so far but I'm normally very careful with my stuff anyway, you can also see that the lid of the unit is used to protect the laptop.
