Thinking about this light as a centrepiece. Just wondered if anyone has this or uses this light, and can tell me what the performance and total coverage is like.

Or if anyone can suggest a similar or better centrepiece?

Cheers,

I bought something similar a while ago (kam led derby II) and was pretty disappointed with it in most gigs. Probably be sticking it up for sale when I get a minute to be honest.
The only time I found it any good was when I had the opportunity to use haze so you can see the beam patterns.
The only output you'll see without haze is a few of the typical led coloured dots swirling about.

For an extra couple of quid then I would probably choose this - http://www.disco-world.co.uk/lighting/amer.../prod_1356.html
Like the majority of led lighting again it's coloured dots but it's a pretty nice 3 mirror scan effect and offers much more movement than the majority of led lights. Would also look great in haze/smoke.
