Okay here is that question everybody is too polite to ask, but still wants to know biggrin.gif . So i've asked it!.

Please note that this is not an undercover Inland Revenue Sting Operation, and even I can't access details of which member clicked which poll. No records are kept anywhere of your vote or visit to this thread and voting is TOTALLY anonymous within the forum software.

Hi,

well the cut off point with the Inland Revenue is approaching very quickly so make sure that your tax returns are into your local office by 31st March.

Anyone who need some help you can PM me

Maybe Tax is higher but easier to understand in Norway? 533.gif . Go over £15,000 here and its not just a case deducting expenses from turnover and filling in the profit box. Lots of other parts of the form become applicable and tax becomes very taxing wallbash.gif .

Besides, an accountant becomes very useful, not just for filling in the dodgy parts of the form that nobody understands, but also for tidying up, when you books are like mine, and resemble a scout jumble sale.

massive changes with the introduction of self assesment here is when & what you pay

On 31st Jan Each Year You will pay the balance of the previous years tax plus one half of the previous years tax liability as a payment on account for the following year.

On 31st July Each Year you will pay the second half of last years tax liabilty,

this will leave a payment on account for next year
