This is a long shot but here goes, does anybody know where I could get a lampholder for the spektronic BrokenSwing? I have one in the garage that hasn't worked in two years because the lamp holder is faulty and I can't find anywhere on the net that stocks them, I believe the light itself has been discontinued, but i would like to get it going again, it is handy for rentals etc. There is a link to the product below

Does it take the normal A1/259 bulb ? If so these should be readily available...

This was a Prolight product.

Have you contacted them?

Classic light, which I picked up new last year fully flight cased for £100 delivered. Quite chuffed with it, but Have only used it twice as it's at it's best at large venues.

A smashing device when kept clean! They take an A1-223 (slide projector) lamp so the lampholder has to be bolted down. Prolight will certainly supply one...however they are a common problem in these and it might be worth fitting a better quality Bender and Wirth holder if you plan on keeping it.

Thanks, Bender & Wirth, think I will get onto them instead and order one, I've alot of big venue weddings coming up and could use it, had forgotten all about it until I came across it at the weekend. I simply ask for a bulb holder for an A1-223 bulb I take it, and I can fit this to my machine?

Not exactly, they do many different types for that lamp, with different mounting hole positions, different lamp orientation etc.

If you want the simple life, get the right one from Prolight! If you dont mind messing a bit for a better quality one, look at the B&W ones.
