Any one got any thing bad to say about this cd player?
Im thinking of getting one.

Thanks
Gary
Its probably Pioneers best product, except that unless you have transparent hands, you cant see the display as you're cueing up, which lengthens a task, which typically we're short on time during anyway.

The only bad comments that I've heard about it are that the "Auto" functions, for the "Emergency loop" isnt accurate enough on slower (<120bpm) tempo's, and that the "Auto mix/sync" still needs manual assistance.

I've heard no bad comments about it for software issues, which makes it quite unique in Pioneers DJ CD-deck range. The last time I saw one, it was £700, which seemed high for its feature list.

Hi

I can't comment on the cmx3000, however I have a cmx5000 and can't falt it in any way.

Granted I only use the auto mix functions when I've got to nip off to the bogs or the bar, but that's not because the feature isn't good enough, I just prefer to mix my own stuff together.

Hope that helps a bit.

I have the cmx-3000 and i must say im very very impressed.... havent had any problems with it as of yet

my only bad thing i can say about it would be that all the buttons are a bit daunting at first... but once you have had a play around with them you will be laughing!!

great cd player and combine this with a DJM-3000 you will have a really really nice set up..... as i have said i cant fault mine

Sounds all good then, thanks for the replies!

I already have the djm 3000 and the cdn 88 just doesnt look the part next to it.

I realise its not what it looks like but it does make me happier. biggrin.gif

Ive been looking at this player for a while now, i know its not the best out there, I was also looking at the cdn 90 which seems to have a better spec but then again its not Pioneer.

Thanks again.

You could always change the mixer... biggrin.gif

Just kidding! I know what you mean, its nice to have all the same equipment next to each other. Its not just the logo's that match; certain companies often try to make control knob tops match, styles, colours etc all match too.

Obviously, theres a point where virtually no single manufacturer makes ALL the gear you need, eg: Pioneer dont make amps suitable for continuous Disco use, nor speakers etc. But we match what we can.

cough! just personal preference and a whole load of upto date features on the Denon of course. biggrin.gif thumbup.gif

Like, being able to do an entire gig on a single CD-deck without gaps, for example.
