Local fabric shop? Most towns have one (thats what I used). If not, ebay.
Should only be a few quid, and will really tidy up your set-up.

I now use the same cloth as an impromptu tablecloth for birthday cakes (if the clients want to use a plain venue table)

When I first started, I made up 2 boards (with frames), covered them in fabric and then hinged them together.

Feels like ages ago! lol
I covered the rear of the gap with a strip of cloth. It gave me a fairly neat set-up...

That worked fairly well for a while, and I used bugees to secure to my 4' Stand.

Lots of options- and it really depends on your budget and gigs.

You can get a fairly cheap black cotton table cloth off ebay. I think I paid about 10 quid for mine (plus a small amount of p&P). Works quite well - could do with being a bit longer, length-wise (as doesn't entirely wrap around a standard table).

Looks *much* better than nothing at all.... I've posted a few pics previously using it..

I've bought from them in the past, they are cheap, good quality and fast. The crushed velvet effect fabrics look excellent.

Local market use black felt works very well cut to length so can be neatly folded on table. Cheap enough to throw away and buy again if it starts to look tired. Comes in other colours also.

We have a company called Fabricland in town........... not sure if they have other branches....

But a basic black cloth costs £1 per metre.....

A slightly better quality piece was £1.50 per metre ...

and good quality was £3 per metre

Star Cloths were available and were priced at £4.90 per metre.... obviously basic white dots, not actual lights! LOL
