Doing an Engagement Party on Saturday night, and the woman who has booked me, has asked today, for the first 30 - 40 minutes, can I play some up tempo / dancy party music, as the couples guests enter, and they are greeting them?

Anyone help with a few idea's??????? wallbash.gif

Many Thanks,

Wayne,

That's a tricky one... "up tempo music that people won't dance to" is a real contradiction.

If that was my brief, I would play instrumentals (to prevent people getting distracted and singing along) or little known tracks (to make the desire to dance a little more difficult) or the below 100/110 BPM tracks that have a tempo but not quite...

I know these won't be to everyone's taste but here a some of the less obvious ones I have in my background folder (I'm not suggesting you play these but they were some of ones that I'd throw into the pot)
