Noticed recently that the excellent Amazon downloads have increased to 89p for some tunes.

Where do folk on here download their tunes from?

i used woolworths until they went under and all my licenses became defunct....

I now use play and tesco.

Play I find so so easy.

This is a simple comparison site.

example;
MICHAEL BUBLE
CRAZY LOVE

Amazon* £5.00
Tesco* £6.97
we7* £7.44
7digital* £7.99
hmv* £7.99
itunes* £7.99
TuneTribe* £7.99
Play* £8.99

Do check they are 320kbps (so you're not comparing a low quality mp3 to a high quality mp3..)

So, answering the original post... anywhere!

Agreed - anywhere - if there's a free trial (like Sky Songs had, then I'll get it there).

Amazon is VBR - about 256k ish - I use Amazon if I've got free gift certificates (which I get for doing text surveys with), and there's nowhere else to get it.

For the odd rarer tune then you have to hunt around for it...

I use Amazon and 7Digital. Plus MastermixDigital and mobiledjdownloads.

Amazon do some great 29p deals (like at the moment they have Joe McElderry The Climb, Timbaland Morning After Dark, Alicia Keys Doesn't Mean Anything, Chipmunk Look For Me, Chuckie & Lmfao Let The Bass Kick In Miami Girl and others) but are VBR.

7Digital do a lot of the top 20 at 320kbs for only 50p each.

Mastermix are good for older tracks for only 79p (and are fully dj friendly) and mobiledjdownloads do the tracks for 99p as wave files so are brilliant.
