I know there are quite a few posts on here giving party ideas (I've read them all) but they are mainly for kids and the adult ones are "Adult" ones.

I've been booked for a Christmas Party at a Pub and wondered if anyone had any good suggestions that are uncontrovertial but nevertheless fun.

I know the audience and clothes swapping, bra removing etc won't work for this conservative audience.

The games are best sprinkled throughout the evening so they need to be brief but effective. I'm sorry to ask the question again but think the angle on this one is slightly different to previous posts.

Any ideas much appreciated!!

I hear you! I would prefer just music.

There isn't much room for dancing and the owners don't want a full time disco as they will be doing this for New Year's eve. I think it's an experiment and worth a go.

I used these last year anyone have any Xmas based quizzes etc they are willing to share?

Teez your welcome for the quizzes ..pass the parcel is a traditional game not too risqué can be a very inexpensive prize and can bring out the fun of old stuffy types, everyone knows the rules and in small spaces it can work well.

I use things like boxes of Maltesers , celebrations etc when they are won people often open and share them anyway.

If i have any brain waves of any good suggestions I'll let you know.

Good luck

Teez - From the sound of it, your working in a similar kinda bar I use to......

We have a wide range of games (But i can't remember them all now... cos i was 18 when I worked there).... the ones can I remeber are :

Naked Limbo - You can easily play this with a single pole... which two people (Bar staff ) holding it and bring it down lower.... Each time a person falls, they remove an item of clothing. The last one standing with a Piece of clothing on WINS!

Chilli-oclate elcairs - Take 6 or 10 or 12 eclairs... and put in 1 or 2 or 3 chilli... it's a bit like roulette....
If they get one with a chilli... AND EAT IT ALL, then win a drink or a prize?

The other one was a treasure hunt style game but I can't remember the full details of it!

Hope this helps :)

Alex

I just re-read your post... and noticed you said " Too Adult " so scrap the naked limbo idea! (Perhaps down to underwear to keep it a bit tamer?)

I've recently used a Heads and Tails DVD (available on ebay £7.50).

Simply press spin and the image revolves.

The 'fun' element is that the participants have to decide Heads or Tails separate into
two groups and either pat their heads or 'shake their tail feather' (aka Blues Brothers)

The groups get whittled down until you have a winner who gets a prize (drink or whatever).
This works much better if all concerned have had a few drinks already.

I bought it for kids parties (where it goes down well) but the adults seem to have even more
fun with it thumbup.gif

Thanks for the quizzes, I run quizzes so I'll pinch these!!
