Hi guys,

Probably the wrong thread so apologies, but if anyone out there is using the Cortex HDC 1000 can they please enlighten me as to what size rack mount is. I have been told it fits a 3U but after measuring my existing CD controller on my Kamcase which is where I want to place it and looking at the HDC on various internet pages I think the HDC 1000 is actually 2U. Can anybody put me out of my misery!!! wallbash.gif

i wasnt going to post, agreeing with Spinners post, the information is easy enough to get from their own website.

However, Frankie's post forces me to reply!

Its 2U!
The HDC3000 is 3U.

Based on my experience with Cortex, whatever size it is, it's the right size to fit in the bin.

I have the HDC 1000 as a backup to my Denon 2500 and I used to have loads of problems with it mp3's stopping etc.. I have to say that since putting the latest firmware on it, it works like a dream.

It is great as a backup and it gives me 4 decks to play with.
