Sadly, Patrick Swayze (57) has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. I liked him as an actor and of course played 'She's Lke The Wind' at many gigs.
I couldn't believe it was actually him singing when I first heard the record all those moons ago, but was pleasantly surprised.
One thing I never kinew until recently was that he insisted on doing all his own stunts even though he endured physical pain throughout his life.
Actor, dancer, singer, stuntman - quite the full package, eh?

I've enjoyed his films such as Dirty Dancing, Roadhouse, Ghost, etc but more recently, I watched all the episodes of his TV series 'The Beast' which I thought was well made. Very enjoyable.
