- The easiest and cheapest thing to do is to fit a secure lock to your flight case.
But this is a pain because each time you want to change the cd you will have to unlock the case and relock it.
- The next thing I found was to put your flight case in a secure lockation where the audience / crowd can not reach
But again this is impractical due to the fact that if its in a secure location it probably is hard for you to reach.
- The next thing to try is to make a dent in the cd case.
This is still impractical and does't do much good since it is usually only the cd that goes missing and not the case.
- If these don'y work for you you can tr using a sharp knife to carve your intatials onto the clear plastic part of the cd.
Again this is time consuming and if you ever decided to sell your cd's this will mean you can not sell them for the max amount of cash.
- One of the best solutions I have found is to buy special clear adhesive plastic that has your name etched on to it. ( But I can only find them for sale in america )
This is good because you can still see the cd fascia and the plastic is unremovable so if the theif wants to sell it he will have trouble doing so because it has your name on it.
- The last and probably best solution is to puchase a u.v. pen and portable u.v light. And to mark all of your cds with your post code (on the front)
This is one of the most practical because it doesn't take too long and you can instatly prove they are yours. And if you happen to own a u.v. cannon or such like you will be able to prove they are yours whist still at the venue..
Hope this helps people and I will let you know if I can find these clear adhesive covers.
Cheers
