Noticed this year how popular AC DC are at weddings. Absolute floor fillers.
Browsing through an American top 200 wedding dance tracks last night, at number 1 was AC DC and 'You Shook Me All Night Long'.

I played that very song on Saturday and it went down a storm. Back in Black also gets a great reaction. Incredible intro.

Agreed, alot of older people dancing as well. Great tune over overlooked by DJ's because it's heavy rock.

Well coming from Australia I would say that AC/DC would be the most requested artists... Every gig I would get countless requests for back in black, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Highway to Hell, Stiff Upper Lip, Thunderstruck, and TNT would be the most requested give all a try some time.

I had Back in Black on a wedding play list recently. About 1/2 the dancers were in shock to start with, but the Bride, Groom and Best man loved it (and the others just joined in).
Its a bit of a step from the more normal GnR/Bon Jovi etc, but I'd play it again if I felt the crowd were up soem some harder rock.

Fair comment. Sometimes when we move away from the safety of the usual wedding fair the crowd are rewarded with something different which goes down well. It makes my job a lot more rewarding.

Big AC/DC Lover (especially the older Bon Scott stuff) - It has that solid slow beat that people love and like primal scream's rocks, it appeals to allsorts and can take us by surprise
How many times do we drag up last weeks playlist and rattle out more or less the same.
