A website has sprung up in the U.S with the offer...
Naturally, appearing to be a professional site, and with the increase in legal music downloading reported to be on the increase Americans are flocking to sign up and use the service.
However, when users have signed up and accessed the service, they are simply met with links to download P2P software like Kazaa, Bearshare and Grokster.
Furious internet users have swamped law enforcement with complaints, however the powers-that-be have admitted that there is little they can do, since the website is hosted outside of U.S jurisdiction and technically doesn't offer the consumer anything which it can't deliver.
It is reported that the owners of the site have made well over $250,000 from the venture which is believed to have appeared just before the Xmas holiday.
