50 Cent has revealed that he would jump at the opportunity to write and record a joint album with Eminem.

The 'Candy Shop' star, who was signed by Eminem and Dr Dre in 2002, told MTV News that he is open to collaborating with his mentor, but only if they share responsibilities on the record.

"We haven't [seriously] discussed making an album together, because we would have to sit collectively and create each song. Unless we was doing something where half of it was his and half of it was mine," he explained.

"And conceptually, maybe if he came up with the first six songs and I built the last six songs and we just featured on each other's records, you know what I mean? We'd do that in a heartbeat."

It was previously suggested that 50 Cent and Eminem were considering the possibility of touring together this summer.
