I got a gig coming up and the Birthday boy wants as many songs from 1979 to 1980
I can think of a few off the top of my head but thought you guys would know more (and im too lazy to go looking through all my cd cover booklets)

Everyhit will list tracks for a given period http://www.everyhit.com/

Just put in the dates and leave the artist and track name blank.

It only returns 50 results a time so to narrow it down, you can for example either select just hits in the top 10 or do dates Jan 79 to mar 79.
