Been sent a lengthy playlist for an outside 40th birthday party.
I've been asked to play some ' chill out summer music' whilst drinks are being served. Usually I would head for my summer mambo/samba albums, but does anyone play anything different for this type of thing?

I usually play a lot of the Cafe Del Mar music - If you get one of their "best of" albums - literally every track is great!
I have a few of the "Crazy Covers" albums which i think are by DJ Tom Middleton - Has some great original chill out music on them.

Hi Rob,
I play a CD called Latinova 4, it is latino / jazzy / bossanova with a modern twist, works really well for me and I tend to play it a lot as background music for weddings before the first dance.
Not sure if it is hugely different from what you have but you can check it out here:

I tend to play the Ibiza chillout types. There are many different types available from the well known songs to the obscure.
