Hi, welcome to the DJU Forums and Happy New Year.

Numark aren't a bad choice and as Chris has already mentioned, you can't go far wrong with either Technics or Vestax, although a pair of these will take you a few hundred £££'s above your budget.

Whatever your decision always go for Direct Drive turntables, far more flexibility. Belt Drive are little more than nice looking Hi-Fi turntables and off little use to the DJ!.

If you are interested, I still have a couple of Gemini Scratchmaster 4.0 Packages available, left over from the Xmas Offers. These are the standard pacakge, but have been upgraded with the higher Spec XL500 Turntable.

You can find details of the offer HERE

And the XL-500 Turntable spec HERE

Welcome to the forum Wilson.

Both the TT200's and XL500 arent bad turntables to start out on, I have used the TT200's before and they did handle quite well through abit of scratching and back cueing.

The only downside to the 200's is the design, I personally dont like the "battle" way round but you can turn the turntable around to which you prefer.

For around £400 - £500 you can pick up a pair of technics 1210. I have recently sold some mark 2's and mark 3's for this price.
