Hopefully, no one has a problem when operating, but sometimes, things can go wrong! So do you carry a tool box and if so, what items do you carry and what type of repairs can you cope with when the unthinkable happens!
Advice welcome!

All the normal screwdrivers, cutters, fuses, tape, super glue, some spare lamps, plugs (iec and audio) etc.
Multi meter, soldering iron, solder, etc.
I'm an electronic engineer so pretty much all bases covered.

Pretty much all of the above and of course the toolbox comes in useful to stand on when setting up the lights.

Same as above really. Two PC tool boxes, complete set of Philips and flat head, pliers, tape, more cables than Woodstock, screws, nuts, bolts, fuses, bulbs but never, ever under any circumstance would I take a soldering iron! Far too dangerous in my unqualified sausage fingers!

I carry some basics;
-Socket Tester
-IEC splitters
-Gaffa Tape
-Insulating Tape
-Screwdrivers
-Pliers
-Adstable spanner
-fuses
-DVM+leads
-Spare 13A plugs
-Spare IEC plug and socket
-spare lamps for dynaroll
-Lighter (for birthday candles!)
-Tape measure (not sure why..!)
-Velcro
-Ty-wraps
-Stanley Knife
-Spare USB cable
-Spare Phono<>Phone
-Spare Phono<>3.5mm jack (for iPod/PC into mixer)
-Wind-up torch
-Safety pins
-Spare batteries for wireless mic
-"choc bloc", for joining cables
The lid of the tool box has storage for business cards and also a MP3 player with a few hundred songs- this can go into the mixer, if I ever needed to rig up the laptop.
It not a large tool box, but its got fairly good quality tools.
Repairs would mainly be cable repairs. However, I do carry enough spares to cover a few failures.
The rest of the gear is mainly for emergencies (main playback failure, so swapping to MP3 player whilst I boot up the PC).
I would hope most probems would be cables or a fuse.
A blown lamp won't ruin a party, but if I noticed it when setting up, I'd quickly replace.
The "good" products have spare for a spare fuse on the IEC inlet, so you can be sure you've always got at least one spare...
I can't see myself dismantling an amp/mixer in front of clients, so try to ensure repairs are kept for when I get home by carrying some basic spares.

although rare for problems, you should be carrying spares, however if needs be, id attempt to repair anything on site if it was an emergency
used to work for a compady that supplied the kit, Amp went down with an hour to go, 40 mins from base. I noticed the fan had failed. I Dismantled the amp on the table, got a desk fan out of the car and aimed at the components inside and switched it back on!! It was dangerous as the amp was in pieces etc, so i did it on a table behind me, put barriers around it and was hailed a hero by the Groom for saving the day! I actually got a tip lol!
Not something id want to do everyday
