Oh no, its happened, just had the Birdie Song requested to be played at a wedding next Saturday.
Phoned the bride to be in case someone else had asked for it as a wind up but its not.
Think I'll leave the Roadie to put it on while I hide or go for a "comfort break" :)
Could this be the start of a Birdie Song revival? I can't remember the last time I played it, certainly 3 years+ ago.

Played it about 3 times last year. I don't mind really, it keeps the likes of Auntie Ethel happy

Black Lace themselves are re-releasing Agadoo. Apparently they are mates with that bloke who played Les Battersby on corrie. He suggested they should release it again after singing it on karaoke. Going to be an up-tempo remix :-/

I played it last year at a kids party... by request... kids didn't know the actions at the start... they knew them by the end....

The bride has the right idea, she said she wants cheese and for everyone to have a laugh and a good time.
Other requests are Grease Megamix, I am the music man - Black Lace & Star Trekkin - The Firm

Got asked for Agadoo and The Conga at a Wedding last year and the crowd went crazy for it :-)
I still regularly get asked for Saturday Night, Macarena and Cha Cha slide.

I saw Colin Louth (Gibb) working at a bar in Tenerife, doing all the Black Lace crap.

Is the [insert satanic music title here] still popular in the SW? And does this explain the secret of YBE's success?
