hi i have been asked by a friend to dj a barn dance for her, and i have no clue on what country songs that i should play. this will be my first set for a paying customer. has anybody got any ideas or suggestions for a good playlist that i could play at this dance.

Having only ever been to one barn dance in my life, I have to say that the "Caller" worked extremely hard. I wouldn't have a clue what to play either, and to be honest would leave this job to a pro as I don't realistically see many DJs offering this service unless they are expeienced in that field.

I'd ask the organiser if they are having a traditional Barn Dance then its cajun, blue grass etc
or if its just a party in a barn in which case you can flavour the selection
