Fleetwood Mac are to follow their comeback tour with a new LP, reports the Daily Star.

The band's first jaunt in five years, 'Unleashed', started in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania last week, and drummer Mick Fleetwood said they will then head to the recording studio in the autumn.

He said: "I have three hairs left. If they don't all fall out following the tour, we've talked about recording again. I don't think we want to just sit around for another five years.

"We're all healthy, we still have loads of energy. Plus, some of us still have mortgages to pay."

Fleetwood told Billboard last month that it is the first time the group have gone on the road without an LP. "This is truly a new experience for Fleetwood Mac to go out and play songs that we believe and hope people are going to be familiar with and love," he said.
