Broadcast on keanemusic.com http://keanemusic.com
2nd April 2009, 8pm GMT

On 2nd April 2009 Keane will make history with the world's first ever live webcast in 3D, from Studio 1, Abbey Road Studios, London.

The multi-million selling, award-winning band Keane are recognised for championing groundbreaking ideas. In 2006 they were the first artists to release a single on a new format - the USB stick, leading the way for other artists to follow. Keane's creative involvement from album artwork design to their award-winning website, has been widely acclaimed with the release of their third Number One album Perfect Symmetry. During the making of the album and for the last year the band have effectively used the website as a broadcast outlet. Features have included one-on-one interviews conducted by Tom with Matt Lucas and Nicole Scherzinger, amongst others; a first-of-its-kind interactive video interview with James Corden just before Christmas; and 'live' blogging and twittering by band members at gigs around the world.

The band will record the live session at London's legendary Abbey Road Studios, the home of The Beatles historic first ever satellite broadcast, and will feature live mixed graphics from world renowned digital artists D-Fuse.
