I gave up going a few years ago after finding it was becoming more a show for theatre and studio.

It definitely is becoming a more theatre based event, but I still enjoy it

I go every year... may not this year though as last year most of the stands we selling / showcasing the same things...... Still Free Guiness from Bandit may twist my arm....Hic

plasa is good as look as you have a few million to spend.I stopped going two yrs ago was of time for moble dj's ok if you live in london. GO TO BPM OR DJ SHOW OF THE NORTH loads better and for the dj market

I only went to a couple but I think that PLASA lost the plot a long time ago in respect of the Mobile DJ. When I first started out it was THE show to go to, and entirely focused to the Mobile DJ and all of the top manufacturers were there......not that there are a lot of TRUE uk Disco Equipment manufacturers left

The last time I went it was ok for those who want to kit out a nightclub or are involved with the theatre or who want to fit PA systems into an oil rig, but the original mobile dj theme has long since been forgotten. If I wanted to buy furnishings then i'd go to a furniture outlet and not to a DJ exhibition.

Looking at the current exhibitor list, http://www.plasashow.com/exhibitors/exhibitorlist/ I think this looks the worst its ever been. See how many well known DJ equipment manufacturers you can find

Not sure if I'm going this year. Pioneer may have a new release but they'll be cutting it fine if they do!
Since BPM became the event for mobile djs, PLASA has definately lost the appeal.

Does anyone know if there is a meet as usual planned for DJ's United Members ??
Didnt get chance to go last year but defo going this year, Tickets already ordered.
