If you an Orange conract customer have you tried Orange Assistant, for £20 per month ( or 35p per message) they will answer your call, instead of your own answering machine and forward a message on via text, ideal for when you are gigging or at work, it sounds very professional and is worth the money, try it by calling 124, they even answer with a message you tell them to..i.e Thank you for calling ADS Entertainments, Andy is unavailable at present............. Best £240 you could spend in the next year, as it could get you that next gig

Surely it would just be cheaper to set your phone to automatically divert unanswered mobile calls to your home number and have your wife / girlfriend / mum / domestic voicemail to take the call for you???.

I wouldn't even pay £20 a month for service let alone an "add on"
