I'm rather fond of getting the party goers up on the tables and chairs the end of evening I normally play stuff like Denzel Pump It Up (Club MIx) Voodoo Child.

Generally 3 to 5 tracks are good the only danger is if you play these tracks after the slow goodnight stuff they scream for more - buy hey ho I'm on my way home.

What would be your 3 to 5 tracks?

Er...No.

Health & Safety issues aside, most managers of my venues would not approve of this action and I would advise anyone against it for the obvious reasons.

Quite right,I'm sure Landlord/manager etc would not be best pleased with the stilleto holes in his upholstery and scratched tables.

Hey fellas understand where your coming from Health & Safety if you see my location I work in Clubs/Bars etc. in Cyprus.

The Brits save 50 weeks every year to come to places like Ayia Napa and blow thousands of pounds in the bars and clubs supping everything that is put in front of them and they have a fantastic time - go to the square in Ayia Napa in July/August and talk about Health & Safety - It's my job to make sure they have a fabulous time and they love getting on the tables and chairs it's part of the holiday I'm affraid.

I would add however there is control and doorman are on hand if it gets out of hand and Health & Safety standards are followed but probably not as the UK know it.

Dodger -

How dare you just come into this forum and mention the "Table", "Chair" and "Dancing" words....

Crikey you could DIE from this!!!!!

Errr... This is an International forum!!! lighten up guys! There are plenty of places around the world where people have fun and dance on tables!!

Respect to you Dodger - Maybe you could come over to the UK and wake us up from our depression so we can dance on tables!!!

(sorry.. still can't answer your original question... It's been a long winter snow_grin.gif )

If I'm finishing with cheesy dance (my favourite way to finish) I still try to slow it a bit at the very end, so last 5 tracks might look like:

Discoland
Hardcore Feelings
Maniac 2000
Superstar
Set You Free

In my fun-filled head i advocate it! but in the real world i would not advocate it or even expect it in most venues...

However the art of Dancing on chairs and tables is evident in many places around the world, especially as
Cyprus-dodger pointed out.... Ayia Napa, faliraki, German beer festivals etc

Must be the Sun here in Cyprus did a Charity Disco last night in hotel in Larnaca 200 age group 30 to 60 within 15 mins of start 8/10 on the tables.

Not encouraged by me I would like to add but they just seem to love dancing on tables.
