Yes i've not had much time recently to update the site. This Damned DJ Workshop and forum take up most of my spare time these days

, and no I don't offer them anymore, and when I did they ended up being sold off far cheaper than advertised on the site.
Okay Chauvet laser failings -
(1) They are American, which due to their Countries laser legislation often means that UK customers often end up with the 4.9mw (5mw) version, which is roughly on a par with the £20 red laser crabs sold to kids and on ebay - even though the beam is green so slightly more powerful than red, the power isn't much greater and certainly NOT stunning by any means. If you were lucky enough to get the 10mw version it is still at least 5 times less powerful than a those offered by competitors.
(2) Price - Originally selling for around £599 - £699 each, they were doomed to fail, especially with the introduction of the cheaper and much better EU range at around 2/3 of the price!.
(3) Mirrors - Waggly mirrors only really work on lighting effects don't they??, and it doesn't help having a waggly mirror when the effect (Legally - UK HSE) has to be kept off the dancefloor and above head height. Not an easy task with this unit!.
Personally, there are several far better products on the market. Although Chauvet, in panic, reduced the original price to sell their UK stock (probably out of embarrassment) they don't compete with other products in the same league. The main failing being lack of power.
The days of waggling dot lasers are over. The very powerful 20mw EU and 30MW Apollo carry off the same effects, far better - 30mw is, in real terms, around 15x brighter than a 5mw and even the 20mw Eu leaves the Chauvet in a trail of dust, the patterns are more defined and the beams far brighter and more solid.
Pricewise, the EU and Apollo compare well. 20mw EU's can go for as little as £360 - £380 and the Apollo 30mw DMX was on offer last month for £399.
