Re: the Korg Zero 4, it seems to be getting a fair amount of love from the Ableton community - I know top DJ Sasha's been enthusing about it's larger sibling the Zero 8 (as a stand in for his Maven when it went wrong) and, IIRC, Paul van Dyk also.

I took a keen interest at the Zero 4 (and 8) at BPM - seems ideally suited to the type of DJ who loves inbuilt FX and needs the flexibility of computer based DJing alongside traditional CD/vinyl sources - especially as individual channels are clearly lit up in different colours according to whether they are designated as MIDI or not, which is nice smile.gif

Yes I have owned a Xone 3d for over a year now and the only fault is not a fault rather a grumble. Having the headphone and mic socket on the front makes choice of flightcase a bit of a pain.

Other than that, audio quality and build quality is excellent and even the customer service from Allen & Heath is like having a hotline to Rolls Royces MD's office. (i had issues when ugrading to vista and no vista drivers were available).

I have never found a more versatile mixer, I use it with Traktor Pro, Traktor Scratch and PCDJ VJ. All flawless.

If you have the money though go for the 4d as it is traktor certified which means you can use timecode control with traktor without having to buy the audio8 dj. You just need the cd's or vinyla dn you are away.
