What an amazing producer, love the way he used samples & made the Raw Like sushi album so fresh and funky. Well worth re discovering..
Anyway apart from him i would like to hear which producers you love and respect, else ill just name the rest that i like!!

Trevor Horn is considered a really great producer of diverse acts. Todd Terry is a clever producer/DJ who had a string of hits a few years back. Also, Ben Liebrand churned out some great tracks.
I particularly like works by Giorgio Moroder and am familiar with works by Julian Mendelsohn.
The producer of the day seems to be Mark Ronson.
