hey guys

im looking to perhaps get some uv lighting, have never used this type of thing before and have no experince of it therefor im sturgling and need some help. first of all what sort of power output do i need for a small to med sized venue. ihave been looking at some 40w 120cm bulbs would these be adiquate if i got 2 or 3? next could anyone recomend any products that work well with uv and where to get things?

Right 2 Problems

1,as a rule crowds dont like UV light especially females in my experiance,The UV shows up dandruff and underwear with the phosphates in the washing powder.

2 .You need a UV cannon to do the job properly and they are not cheap.

If it was a sign a small flourescent light would surfice below it shining up.

It looks tacky @ the front of the disco but I have seen mainly bands use white and coloured UV paint on backdrops.They look impressive.

to be honest im not specificaly looking for uv. basically i want something new and impressive without s. can u suggest anythingpending lots ofmoney lol

You can also cause arc eye easily using a cannon and care needs to be taken how they're placed and how close people can come to the fixture.

Some say they're potentially more dangerous than lasers........
