You can use any instrumental as a bed.

I sometimes use the Bottom tv theme remix as used by chris moyles on radio one. He uses it for the tedius link that they do.

You can find it on the Mastermix Anthology.

Another one i use also is the "Stictly Dance fever". This is on the Mastermix TV sets top up 1.

I do Pearl and Deane "Asteroid"followed by national lottery drumroll (which i talk over to welcome everyone and give a quick intro of whats going on, straight into TFI Friday.

I at the end of the evening I sing over "bring me sunshine" by morcomb and wise, then Bottom outro or benny hill as the lights come on.

It's not quite what you're asking for, but if you do a soul-motown-60's sort of set you could use the classic talkovers of the time, Time is Tight and Green Onions, both by Booker T & the MG's, they might work with what you're doing anyway.

and i must add, that i stole all that from my mate baz who used to do disco's and is considering coming out of retirement.... which would mean i'd have to stop playing them..... i have several other tunes on standby though!!!

It depends on what atmosphere you want to create.

I use the begining part of Earth Wind & fire's "In the stone", looped. I also use Mezzoforte's "Garden party" and the Booker T tracks suggested earlier. The instrumental bit in John Miles' "Music" is also good.

I also have some non-needle time stuff from the radio days. It's a bit bland but is ok.

For a short voice over the album version of Scissor Sisters - I dont feel like dancin is great.

Time it right and let the first main beat start just after you haver finished speaking.

A great reaction when done and a good way to get the party going!

let us know if you decide to use it!
