Did a gig on Saturday everything was fine until about 4hrs in when I lost sound from my Shure radio mike, the transmiter was showing it was sending but my mixer was showing nothing. Quick trouble shooting found it was a dead channel on my mixer, simple fix just plugged into another channel except 5mins later another dead channel - unlucky I doubt as the other 4 channels in use were fine so it has to be something to do with my receiver.
The next day powered up the mixer and all channels were working again, but I don't want this happening again.......any ideas.


The mixer is a Yamaha EMX5000-12 and the receiver on my Shure looks fine inside.



PS the two are connected Jack to Jack with a Van-Damme lead.

I would be looking at the lead or the socket on the receiver.

the yammy mixer has a square channel cut button on it.Did you press it whilst opperating the slider?
