I thought I posted this a couple of days ago but its disapeared?

So here we go again

I often get asked to do a slow dance number and apart for Berlin- Take my breath away and Robbies Angels I must admit my mind often goes blank!!?

So three slow numbers from the last five decades ( three from each decade) any ideas?

Being a 70's and 80's man , it would have to be:

70's
Rose Royce - wishing on a star
Commodores - three times a lady
The Carpenters- won't last a day without you

80's
Diana Ross - missing you
Phyllis Nelson - move closer
Maria McKee - show me heaven (think this one was 1990?)

Hope these help, always enjoy a good slowies section, often overlooked by a lot of dj's these days.

18th Birthday tonight I played

Rihanna - Take a bow
Duffy - Warwick Avenue.

last night 40th b'day

Duffy - Warwick Avenue
Take That - Rule the World.

I think there a fair few new tracks that are decent, though i might have overplay the Duffy card a bit ;-)

I always think Starship - Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now is a good one for those that want to slow dance or those that want to sing along. I always find slow dances can divide a crowd and leave people on a sour note if they have no one to dance with! Same goes for Angels by Robbie Williams.....
nrgize
Whitne Houston - I will always love you
Pyhliss Nelson - Move Closer
Righteous Brothers - Unchained melody
wet wet wet - love is all around
Jennifer Rush - the power of love
dirty Dancing - Ive had the time of my life (not slow but slow dancebale to)
Stylistics - you make you feel brand new
