Tis the main reason i use napster. I buy the best stuff and download then delete the ooh thats popular today stuff. and i dont need a pro dub licence

Check the terms and conditions on the napster subscription service and you will find that it is not technically legal to use for DJ's

Napster also confirmed this to me via email!

its a grey area as far as im concerned as they have not told me i cant when i told them what i do with the music. the people from ppl and prs told a colleage it was ok too

every cd i have states that public performance is prohibted and yet prs licences cover this

so who knows for sure

Shes A right Whizz

She is........................special!

but alas the leglislation regarding the public performance of pre recorded music has eluded her and besides the home show is on and its do not disturb for now.

To add to this i have looked on various legal download web sites, as listed on this site including tesco woolworths itunes and they all state that lending hiring public performance is strictly prohibited.

Just as well most of our events are for private events rather than public events huh? ;)
