I am catering for the younger generation and I was just wondering how to get any new lastest music before being released so i can intoduce new songs that willl be the next big thing?

You shouldn't be able to get tracks before they are released !

Now getting them before they go on general release is easier..

You're beat before you even start. With radio stations and TV music channels playing songs months before their release, songs which the young folk themselves can easily illegally download, legal DJs are made to look imcompetent and completely out of touch by the fact that we legally can't buy half the songs that our audiences have on their I-Pods and mobile phones. It's a farcical situation.

Whilst DJs expressed disappointment with the Pro Disc monthly, the only alternative to 'pre release' tracks is the Mixmash monthlys. These discs contain the videos which are released at the time / in advance on the Music Video network channels. The sound qulaity is absolutely superb.
At present, they are available in DVD format but there has been talk of downloadable content in the future.

I've been toying with the idea of getting into VJ-ing for a while now but it's a huge decision due to large financial outlay. The quality of these DVDs is a definite positive though.
